Jon Pfeiffer is an adjunct professor at the Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. Jon teaches Mass Communication Law and has twice received the Outstanding Adjunct Teaching Award. Aside from teaching, Jon is a full-time entertainment attorney with over 30 years of trial experience. He is licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, as well as the courts of the states of Colorado, Nebraska, and California.
Jon’s high school graduating class had fewer than 30 people. After high school, he enrolled at the University of Nebraska, where he received his B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1980, graduating with distinction. Jon earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver in 1983.
Jon has two sons. Michael, Jon’s older son, graduated from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University with a B.S. degree in international politics and an honors certificate from the International Business Diplomacy program. Jackson, Jon’s younger son, graduated magna cum laude, with high distinction in economics from Duke University, where he was inducted in Phi Beta Kappa. At the time of this publication, Jackson is a doctoral student in finance at Carnegie Mellon University.
