Amanda Salz is a Southern California native and a Pepperdine University graduate of the Class of 2015. At Pepperdine, she majored in print journalism with a minor in Hispanic studies, which she studied while abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Amanda was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, a participant in the Social Action & Justice Colloquium, and a writer for the Graphic, the university’s award-winning student-run newspaper. In addition to her schoolwork and extracurricular involvement, Amanda completed three internships and worked part-time during her junior and senior years of college.
After graduating with honors, she spent the year applying to law schools while working at Pfeiffer FitzGibbon & Ziontz LLP as the client relations coordinator and Jon Pfeiffer’s executive assistant. In Fall 2016, Amanda will begin her first year at the University of Texas School of Law, where she plans to pursue a career in First Amendment law.
